Slipway keeps a registry of the git repositories on your machine and shows their state the way kubectl shows a cluster. It fetches them without prompts, compares each one with the remote, branch and revision its manifest declares, and fast-forwards the branches that can move without losing work, and it can take such a move back. Groups, labels and selectors pick the repositories, and it ships shell completion and man pages.
